HotCakes is a unique, locally-owned gourmet shop with fresh, inventive prepared foods you can enjoy any way you like – in our café, packaged to-go, or delivered with full-service catering. Of course, everything is made fresh, daily.
- Our gourmet-to-go case offers 30+ appetizers, entrées, and side dishes that are supplemented by a full menu of sandwiches, soups, hot entrees, and salads.
- Our fabulous desserts are alone worth the trip … if you love chocolate, classic layer cakes, or European-style individual desserts, make sure you come hungry.
- We use a Michelangelo double-head espresso machine to brew our specialty coffees – and our beans are roasted locally, twice a week, by Shenandoah Joe. (We also serve loose teas.)
- Wine lovers will appreciate our reasonably-priced wines, available by the bottle with no corkage fee or restaurant markup. (Wines by the glass are also available.)
- If you are having a special occasion, our catering service can probably handle whatever you need. Over the past 26 years we’ve done it all, from an intimate mountaintop dinner for two to a multinational client’s corporate extravaganza for 2,500 under a circus tent, with specialty food stations representing 12 different cuisines.
And, there’s always free high-speed wifi in our comfortable café.
